Jonathan Singer of MyDD has some liveblogging of yesterday’s SEIU/CAP/UNLV Presidential Healthcare forum. Gov. Bill Richardson was the second candidate to speak during the event:
Richardson says that he understands first hand as a governor the issues with healthcare. “All Americans and all businesses… should be able to buy the same coverage as Members of Congress and the President” and Medicare should be available for those at an even younger age (60, I believe he said, instead of 65). Veterans’ healthcare should also be improved by giving them a card that would grant them access to any hospital.
There’s more there at MyDD, and Think Progress should have video of the event online later.
