While meeting with members of the Silver City town council this morning, he asked an aide for his green Sharpie. Several aides started the search in another room, before one finally returned with a red Sharpie.
“Where’s the green one?” he asked. “I wanted the green one”
Three minutes later, he found the green pen in his pocket.
Two minutes after that, an aide handed Richardson three green Sharpies. He looked around the table and said, “It’s good to be governor.”
I guess this provides the answer to the state question: red or green?
More on his meetings with city and county officials (including those from the Tri-City area) later this evening, along with my thoughts on the town hall he held with residents.
