Spotted this swallowtail just as the sun was beginning to set behind the treeline.
Rev. Lennox Yearwood rallies the crowd outside the E.P.A.’s Washington D.C. headquarters — where hundreds had gathered to support the agency’s planned power plant rule.
This was one of four Challengers (of the new generation) lined up in front of the barn at Miles Wine Cellars, one of the infinite vineyards and wineries in New York’s Finger Lakes region. Miles Wine Cellars is along the Western shore of Seneca Lake.

This Pontiac Tempest was sporting some patriotic messaging yesterday morning. “Tempest” would be a good enough descriptor for my week, but it all culminated in an incredible Independence Day in Silver City yesterday.
