The drive home this evening was beautiful, until it began snowing like crazy between Hatch and Deming. Nothing like cruising 50 mph on the highway, let me tell you. Still, the snowy conditions meant for some cool light, especially near Hurley:

Hurley I know there are people out there who are saddened that Phelps Dodge will bring down the smokestacks at the Hurley smelter next year.
