It’s been a decade since I’ve seen the area between Silver City and Deming look like this:
More on the way, but they’ll probably come after I return to D.C., because I’m spending so much time out and about (and eating — please, somebody stop me from eating).

It looks unreal, doesn’t it? I drove that way a couple of weeks ago… along I-10 between LC and Deming, I really thought for a second that the desert was being used to grow some kind of crop… it was that uniformly green.
