According to the Associated Press:

AP Calls race for Udall 10 months early

It’s obviously a mistake, but I imagine Rep. Heather Wilson and Rep. Steve Pearce don’t appreciate it.

  1. I was pleased to see that Udall did the 1st 10 minutes of Richardson’s withdrawal speech today. 10 minutes of free attention by the entire state for a US Senate Candidate.
    I think that answers any speculation that Richardson wants to be Senator.
    Richardson will wait in N.M. and see if the winner calls him to Washington in a Democratic administration.
