Things I’ve learned living in the big city

When, after drinking two margaritas during happy hour at Merkado and metroing home on the Yellow line (from U Street to Pentagon City), you’re faced with the following dilemna:
- Waiting for the 22B bus to take you to the apartment complex or
- Walking 2 miles back to the apartment complex
Always choose option No. 1.
ahh but two margaritas make it so worthwhile! :D

Yeah, and it was good company too. I work with some really wonderful people, and one of them took me out last night (though I was actually there to support her). Still, good, cheap (hooray happy hour!) drinks with a new friend was indeed worth the walk.
