Taken for granted

As much as I’ve enjoyed my move to The Big City® I’ve come to understand just how much I miss certain aspects of Silver City. For example: the closest Sonic Drive-In is 48.13 miles south in Fredericksburg, VA. The only Dairy Queen I’ve seen is in a mall in Gaithersburg, MD. Perhaps all the good fast food joints are in communities whose names end in “burg.”

I won’t even get started on Jalisco’s, Diane’s, The Twisted Vine, Rejuvenation (I know, I know, but I’ll always know it by that name), Isaac’s, Grinder, Vickie’s, the brew pub, the Buckhorn, etc.

Noted in passing, because I keep seeing Sonic commercials on TV.
