My dad is a huge Mets fan, so he did what he could to score us some tickets to one of their games in Phoenix this week. We took off this afternoon for the third game in the series, which the Mets won 6-2.
There was a strong contingent of New York fans, which made us feel a bit better about cheering on the visitors, but my pops is pretty die hard so I don’t think we would have held back either way.
It’s 4 a.m. (we drove back to Silver City after the game) and I’m beat, so it’s time for me to get some sleep. I’ll have more photos from the game — and some shots of the early Tour of the Gila races in the downtown Criterium on Saturday — later this morning.
