Saturday Cat Blogging: Dos Gatas Edition

Here I Come
Meredith adopted another cat yesterday, thanks to a generous donation by one of our coworkers. The new kitten remains unnamed, but is incredibly cute and seems to be adapting quite nicely.

Nutmeg, on the other hand, was non-plussed. As the evening progressed, she began to assert some dominance over what has clearly been her territory for the past several months.

Face Off

I’ll keep you updated (like, you know, the new cat’s name) and whether they’ve killed each other or have started getting along. Here’s two more photos.

  1. Before the kittens have their first heat, you might consider contacting SNAP, the Spay/Neuter Assistance Program to help in getting your kittens neutered safely. Call Edwenna at 534-4725. This is a financial assistance program so they ask that those only in real need of assistance use the program.
You have a two wonderful life times to enjoy.

  2. Richard,

Nutmeg was spayed last week, and the new kitten was before Meredith took her home. Still, great advice for anybody adopting a pet in Grant County.

  4. A couple of weeks ago Alfred and I got a new kitty the same way we got our first one – it was dumped on us by a friend. Anyway, we love her and are excited about it. Our other cat, Polly, wasn’t so excited about the new arrival, but they are getting along fine now. We are going to have to fix the new one soon (after the wedding), so the info. above was useful. Neither of us would ever have thought we’d end up cat people! Oh well, good luck.
