Richardson’s stage presence

One thing I noted during last week’s candidate forum in Nevada was just how tall Bill Richardson is when he’s up on stage. He dwarfed the other candidates when they all stood for photographs during the intermission.
This morning, another photo appeared in my inbox:
It isn’t just anybody that can make Arnold Schwarzenegger look small.
This was taken during yesterday’s announcement of a Western Governors climate change initiative.

Arnold is not a really tall man to begin with, I had a chance to stand next to him in the late 80′s at a Bikers Cafe in the Malibu hills and was astonished to see he was not as tall as he appeared in the movies.
Just out of curiosity why was our Governer Gibbons exempt from this climate change initiative? It might be considered that Republicans in general are not interested in climate improvement.
