A New Mexico product ranks at the bottom of the list…

Eclipse Aviation, which is based in Albuquerque, recently saw its Eclipse 500 ranked at the bottom of a comparison of private jets. The kicker: the bottom was the place to be.
The Helium Report recently conducted a study on offsetting carbon emissions while flying on private planes (the way TerraPass will help you offest emissions when flying commercial). The Eclipse 500 has all the right moves:
It burns half as much gas and produces 50 percent fewer emissions than the next jet up, the Citation CJ1, and is also half as expensive to operate.
According to the ABQ Tribune, the first Eclipse was delivered last week, while 37 more are in production.

…And carries half as many people half as far.
