I was out at Fort Bayard yesterday covering a meeting by the state Legislature’s Health and Human Services committee, and went for some photos once the meeting adjourned for the day. This was my favorite.
On a related note, I met state Sen. Dede Feldman, who’s blog I’ve linked to the past. She’s been a champion for progressive health care issues, and it was great to see her and her colleagues asking good questions regarding nursing and primacy care clinics yesterday. The committee will focus on hunger issues in the state this morning. They’re meeting at the Global Resource Center on the WNMU campus at 9 a.m.
