Well, sorta.
Due to, er, technical problems with our last host, we were forced to purchase a new domain name. So, we can now be found at SCDailyPress.com.  Please update your bookmarks.

From what I understand, the redesigned site will feature a host of new bells and whistles, and will be up and running within the next two weeks. So, yeah.

Where can I get the latest news for Silver City, NM? I’m stationed in Iraq and would like to check out the news in Silver.
    Thanks,

My site is OK, and soon I hope the Silver City Daily Press Web site will be online: http://www.scdailypress.com. You might also try the Sun News, http://www.scsun-news.com, though technically they’re our competitors.

I beieve you would get more local news from, say, a local radio station rather then the Las Cruces Sun News. The Sun News is published in Las Cruces and just has a few token stories fom Silver. They are not local and really know nothing about our commuity. The web site for KNUW radio, here in Silver City is realcountryonline.com. We think the Daily Press will go live at scdailypress.com on Monday of next week.

Thanks, Tina Ely–Third generation publisher, Silver City Daily Press and Independent
