I was contacted earlier this week by the webmaster of the Silver City-Grant County Chamber of Commerce. He wanted to know if the Chamber could use one of my photos for their site.

A woman says: My neice has been telling a lot of fibs lately. Fibs, fibs and more fibs. So, I thought I’d try to tell her that fibbing is not a good idea by telling her the story of the boy who cried wolf.
Elizabeth says:
I told her the story, explained that the little boy was eaten by the wolf in the end, becasue nobody believed him after crying wolf so many times.
Ave says:
OK
Elizabeth says:
and she looked very thoughtful, and said to me in a quiet voice . . .
Elizabeth says:
I was eaten by a wolf once.

There were tears in my eyes.
